Sissons size not hurting offer count

Duncanville, Texas inside linebacker Mychal Sisson may not be the biggest linebacker the state has ever had, but the talented young man apparently is proving everyone wrong.
At 5-foot-10, 193 pounds, Sisson hasn't had any shortage of scholarship offers. On top of his first ones from Baylor, Colorado State, SMU, and Tulsa, he has now added ones from San Diego State, Rice, Utah, Houston, and Iowa State.

"Yeah, I've gotten a few more," Sisson said with a laugh. "I'm not rushing anything though. I don't even have a top five yet."
Sisson says that despite not having any favorites, he has a couple of schools recruiting him pretty hard.
"Colorado State text messages me quite a bit," Sisson said. "San Diego State, they do the same thing. They show me the most love."
Sisson says that right now he's unsure of when he'll make a decision.
"I might wait until after the season and do all that."
As usual, Duncanville has high expectations for the upcoming season.
"It's the same priorities we have every year as a team," Sisson said. "We want to get into the playoffs and make it to state. That hasn't ever changed and it's certainly what we're trying to achieve this year."
