Sirmon bags first two offers

Jacob Sirmon didn't have to wait too long into his sophomore season to pick up his first scholarship offer and waited less than that for the second.

The 6-foot-3, 203-pound quarterback from Bothell, Wash., landed offers from Washington and Washington State last week, signaling the start of a recruitment that should only ramp up in the coming years.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Sirmon doesn't have any visits planned but he has been to both Seattle and Pullman this year, so he has already started to establish relationship with both coaching staffs. In the past he mentioned heading down to USC, where his uncle, Peter Sirmon, is the linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator. Sirmon also camped with Arizona State in the summer and said he would like to return to see a game at Sun Devil Stadium.
IN HIS WORDS: "I'm just extremely blessed," Sirmon told Rivals.com. "I'm going to keep playing good football and whatever comes my way, I'll be grateful for. I talked to coach (Jonathan) Smith some and I also love what coach (Chris) Petersen is doing and what he stands for. They have a lot of young talent that will keep improving and there is so much possible upside."
