Sintim takes first trip

After postponing an official visit last weekend, strongside defensive end Clint Sintim from Woodbridge (Va.) Gar-Field finally made it in for his first scheduled trip. He visited Virginia and gave the trip good marks.
“It was alright,” he said. “I met a couple of players and met more coaches. I really liked the player - coach relationships.” He was hosted by freshman linebacker Ahmad Brooks and rated the trip an eight.

“I am looking at the lineman and just what is the overall best for me,” Sintim commented. “I will make a commitment just as soon as I feel comfortable with everything.”
Clint lists Maryland, Virginia, and Virginia Tech as his top schools. He had to cancel a trip to Virginia Tech last weekend, but plans to reschedule that trip, and wants to add one to Maryland. He has had in-home visits with Virginia and Virginia Tech.
He is still considering Ohio State and Tennessee, but hasn’t heard from either school recently.
Sintim is rated the No. 30 strongside defensive end in the country by Rivals.com. He is 6-foot-3, weighs 254 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. He is unsure of his tackle total, but had five sacks as a senior.
