Sintim sets visits

Three-star strongside defensive end Clint Sintim from Woodbridge (Va.) Gar-Field has ended his high school career and has begun to concentrate on the future. With the year quickly coming to a close, he has set up two official visits, has one in the works and has started receiving in-home visits from his top schools.
“I am going to UVA next weekend (Dec. 5), Virginia Tech the weekend after that (Dec. 12), and I may go to Maryland the weekend after that (Dec. 19),” Clint commented. “We have set that one up but haven’t confirmed it yet.

“I want to go to Ohio State and Tennessee for my last two visits, but they have kind of cooled off a little on me. Those are the five schools I am really focusing on.”
Sintim had an in-home visit with Coach Al Golden from Virginia tonight and will have Coach Bud Foster from Virginia Tech in Wednesday. Those are the only visits he has planned so far.
“I am definitely looking for good academics,” he commented on what he is looking for on his visits. “That is most important.
“Second is the coaching staff, the environment, and if I get along with everybody. Early playing time is important too.” He wants to take all of his visits and plans to make a decision in late January.
Rated the No. 30 strongside defensive end in America by Rivals.com, Sintim stands 6-foot-3, weighs 254 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. He is unsure of his senior tackle total, but recorded five sacks. He had 35 tackles and six sacks as a junior.
