Sintim close to a decision

Woodbridge (Va.) Gar-Field strongside defensive end Clint Sintim (6-foot-3, 254 pounds, 4.7-second 40-yard dash) was scheduled to go to Maryland last weekend and Virginia Tech later this month, but may have a change of plans. His trip to Maryland was canceled, and he is considering dropping the trip to Blacksburg, leaving only his visit to Virginia back in December.
“I didn’t go to Maryland,” he commented. “Coach Friedgen canceled it. I am supposed to go to Virginia Tech on the 23rd, but I will probably cancel it. I haven’t set up any more.

“I am close to committing to UVA, but it between them and Virginia Tech. If I take the trip to Virginia Tech that might help me decide.”
While considering his options for college, the No. 30 strongside defensive end in the country had a recent setback. He broke his shin during a recent basketball game, but should not have any long-term effects. He will be out four to six weeks, and will then begin rehabilitation.
