Sims down to three

Four-star defensive tackle Pat Sims from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard has ended his season and has started narrowing his college choices. He has whittled his list down to three schools and will visit one this upcoming weekend. He wants to see all three, however, before making a decision.
“I am down to Rutgers, Auburn, and Ole Miss,” he stated. “That’s all. They are all losing three defensive linemen, so I will get playing time early.”

Sims will visit Rutgers this upcoming weekend and will travel to Auburn on Jan. 16. He said he will go to Ole Miss sometime in January, but has not set a date. Coaches from all three schools – Rizzi from Rutgers , Luke from Ole Miss, and Gran from Auburn – have all been in for in-home visits and he said that all were about equal.
In addition to playing time, Pat said he is looking for a good business program. He also said that he plans to take all three visits before making a decision, and will most likely wait until signing day before making an announcement. All three of his favorites have offered scholarships.
Sims stands 6-foot-4, weighs 280 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He is rated the No. 18 defensive tackle in America by Rivals.com. He must remain focused in the classroom to become academically eligible, and took the SAT for the first time last Saturday.
