Simpson likes Virginia visit

Harrisburg (Pa.) running back Mikell Simpson took his second official visit in as many weeks this weekend. Last week it was Michigan State, this week Simpson took an official visit to Virginia. What were Simpson's impressions of Virginia?
"I loved it. I had been to Virginia twice before but never for a game. The game was great was great and I can't say enough about the fan support. It was loud, real loud for the whole game," said the 6-foot-1, 185-pound back who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds.

Virginia's offense is also attractive to Simpson.
"I can really see myself playing that offense. Virginia uses their running backs in the passing game as well as in the running game and that plays into my strengths. I really like how open and energetic their coaches are as well."
How would Simpson compare the visits to Michigan State and Virginia?
"I really enjoyed them both. At Michigan State, I had the opportunity to hang out with the players more because they played an early game. At Virginia, the game atmosphere and the crowd support blew away Michigan State. I have never seen a crowd like that before."
Is Simpson ready to name a leader?
"I am still open. My top schools are Michigan State, Virginia, UCLA, and Alabama. I plan on announcing my decision on Signing Day."
Simpson will make it three-for-three next weekend with a trip to Alabama for his third official visit.
