Simmons talks about a number of visits

Racine Park, Wis., junior offensive lineman Matt Simmons is one of the best in the Dairy state. The 6-foot-5 and 300-pounder is drawing the interest of recruiters from a number of Big Ten schools.
Simmons recently visited Wisconsin.

"I went to Wisconsin for a junior day when they played Minnesota (in basketball)," Simmons said. "It went good, real good.
"I'd been to Wisconsin before, but it wasn't with all the new coaches. I like the coaches a lot."
Simmons may visit several other Big Ten schools over the next few months.
"I might be going to visit Michigan and Iowa," he said. "Michigan would be sometime this month. Iowa would be in April.
"Then there's Ohio State too, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get down there.
"I might go down and visit Illinois. I'm not sure yet.
"And I get a lot of mail from Auburn."
Simmons, who moved into the starting lineup at offensive tackle half-way through his sophomore season, said he has not received a scholarship offer to this point. However don't be surprised if that changes before the end of the summer.
