St. Louis (Mo.) University running back Stephen Simmons was to have an official visit to Indiana this weekend but something has changed on the trip and it's not the destination date.
The only difference between the visit before this week and now is that it will be an unofficial trip for the 5-foot-8, 170-pound all-purpose back. Simmons is saving his official visits for another time.
"I just wanted to do it unofficially right now," Simmons said. "I'm going to try to take my officials sometime during September and not during the season. I've been to Indiana three times before, so I pretty much know a lot about it. I just want to see how the whole team is and the homecoming atmosphere."

The unofficial visits don't start there.
"Then I'm going to Northern Illinois on Oct. 15 and Iowa on Oct. 22 as well," Simmons said. "So it's going to be a lot later, but official visits will be way after the season."
Simmons is also adamant on waiting to commit and will not pull the trigger on a trip.
"This is my first time heading out, so I've got a lot of places to see," Simmons said.
