Simmons still wants to visit Florida

McKeesport, Pennsylvania defensive tackle Delvon Simmons was supposed to take an official visit to Florida this weekend but because of the coaching change those plans had to be adjusted.
Despite the fact that Urban Meyer will not be the head coach, Simmons still wants to take an official to Florida.

"I still want to look at them but I don't know if I still have the offer," Simmons explained.
"Do you still have an offer when the coach leaves? I don't know. I've got to find out."
Simmons said he learned that the Gators had hired Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp as he was watching television this weekend.
"I don't know anything about him," Simmons admitted. "It really didn't matter who the head coach was, though. I still like Florida regardless."
Simmons will probably be in touch with someone from Florida shortly. The Gators had an in-home visit with him a couple of weeks ago, as did Rutgers.
Despite his continued interest in Florida, Simmons is still listening to what other schools have to say.
"I'm still thinking about scheduling another (official) visit, I just don't know where yet," he said.
