Simmons knows what hes looking for

Racine (Wis.) Park offensive lineman Matt Simmons helped lead his team to a 13-1 record during his junior season. Simmons was an all-conference and all-state selection as his team won a state championship.
The 6-foot-5 and 300-pound Simmons is looking forward to a big senior season before taking his game to the next level.

While Simmons has yet to receive his first scholarship offer, he is receiving attention from recruiters.
"Central Michigan is up there," Simmons said. "And Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana are three more. I'm not looking at Wisconsin so much anymore. Ball State is another one I'm looking at.
"I really don't have a favorite."
Simmons, who could play either tackle or guard in college, has a pretty good idea of what he is looking for in a college.
"Academics is No. 1 for me," he said. "The football program is important. The coaches too. And the campus life is important."
Simmons attended football camps this summer at Central Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois State.
"I'd have to say I liked the Indiana camp best," Simmons said. "I got to work one-on-one with the offensive line coach. Central Michigan was pretty good too."
