Simmons has four officials in mind

McKeesport, Pennsylvania defensive tackle Delvon Simmons recently visited North Carolina with his teammate Brandon Jackson, and the duo was highly impressed with what the Tar Heels have to offer.
Simmons, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive tackle, is one of the most highly sought after prospects at his position in the region and schools have been clamoring for him to visit whenever he gets the chance.

The trip to Chapel Hill was a productive one. So productive, in fact, that he could be making a return trip before too long.
"It went good," Simmons said of his trip to UNC. "We got to watch a highlight tape and I really liked that.
"We talked to most of the coaches, actually. I'd say they're (UNC) pretty high up there now. I think I'm pretty much done until official visits."
Simmons already has a good idea of which schools he wants to take official visits to.
"I want to get out to at least a few officials," he said. "I want to take an official visit up to North Carolina. I want to go to Iowa, Rutgers, Michigan State, and then there's another one I'm still trying to decide on.
"They're not really my favorites. Those are just the schools I want to go see now."
Simmons said he does not have any favorites yet. He said that he and Jackson may take some official visits together, but then again, they might go their separate ways for some as well.
