Simmons eyes official visits

Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County defensive end Jeffery Simmons is one of the most highly sought defenders in the Southeast, and he continues to be a top priority for several top programs.
He was one of the top performers at the Mississippi State Big Dawg Camp on Friday and the Bulldogs are among those who are hot on his trail right now.

"I'm taking my time, and right now Mississippi State, Ole Miss, AlabamaAuburn has started to come at me a little harder. I'm originally from Louisiana so they've started coming at me harder, LSU," Simmons said. "But I'm just trying to put it to the side right now and focus on the season."
In addition to attending Mississippi State's camp on Saturday he also attended Ole Miss' camp over the weekend and he plans to camp at LSU.
He does not have any official visits scheduled right now, but he does have a few plans.
"Yes sir, I know for sure Alabama, LSU, [Mississippi State], and those are the only three I know for sure right now," Simmons said. "I can say Ole Miss and Auburn too."
Simmons is currently ranked No. 18 among the nation's strongside defensive ends and No. 11 in the Rivals.com Mississippi Spring Top 20.
