Simmons commits to Northwestern

St. Louis (Mo.) University running back Stephen Simmons needed only one official visit, a trip to Northwestern, to make a commitment.
"I had a real good trip," Simmons said when asked about his visit with the Wildcats. "I committed.
"I just felt comfortable with the program. The education is one of the best in the country. I liked the campus. We toured downtown. It was exactly what I wanted."
Simmons also has a scholarship offer from Indiana and a visit scheduled to Blommington Dec. 9.
"I'm all done," Simmons said. "I'm not going to take that visit."
The 5-foot-8 and 170 pound Simmons rushed for 1583 yards and 17 touchdowns during his senior season. Simmons is the No. 17 prospect in the state of Missouri in the Rivals.com player rankings.
