Sidney still strong with USC

Trevon Sidney could have some important visits coming up but the four-star still has USC out in front as his recruitment continues.
The La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat standout shined once again recently at the Rivals Camp Series in Los Angeles and he made it clear the Trojans look the best at this point.

USC wide receivers coach Tee Martin stays in regular contact and the Trojans seem to be aggressively recruiting Sidney much more than other teams.
"They're still pretty strong," Sidney said. "They're still recruiting me. I get something in the mail from them every day. I hear from coach Martin at least three or four times a week.
"My friend actually went over there and said Tyler (Vaughns) and I were at the top of their recruiting list."
The Trojans definitely look strong but the four-star prospect said he's planning trips to Washington and Notre Dame.
Sidney was supposed to visit the Huskies earlier this offseason but could not make the trip. He is going to be in the Chicago area this summer anyway and said it would be a good time to see what Notre Dame has to offer.
If Sidney can't make those two visits this summer, he would plan officials to both schools.
"Nothing is planned yet but I think I'm going to try to get up to Washington and Notre Dame," Sidney said. "It's not planned but for sure I'm going to try to get up there for those visits.
"They interest me. I was supposed to go to Washington's elite junior day but I couldn't make it up there. Notre Dame because I go up to Chicago to see my family so I'll probably drive down there and see the campus."
The Bishop Amat standout said as for other official visits he would like to head to the SEC - either to take a trip to LSU or Alabama.
There is no firm timetable for a decision yet.
