Siddoway excited by latest offer

Eugene (Ore.) Marist offensive lineman Charles Siddoway is the state's top prospect for this coming season. We saw the lineman recently at the NorCal NIKE camp and he impressed, much like he did at the NIKE Camp in Oregon a year ago.
Siddoway measured in at 6-6, 315 pounds, almost 30 pounds more than when we saw him as a sophomore. It was good weight though as the lineman is very well put together and has a great frame.

"Siddoway has a pro-style body already and is very strong," lead NIKE OL Coach Pete Brock said. "He has a fierce attitude and his power means the play is pretty much over once he gets his hands on the opposing DL.
"He competed hard during the one on ones, but could use some cleaning up on his footwork. I liked him a lot and thought he was one of the two best OLs we had at Stanford."
On the recruiting front, Siddoway has offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Boise State, UCLA, Washington, Portland State and just picked up one from Cal on Thursday.
"I like Cal a lot and was excited to get that offer," Siddoway said. "I camped there last summer and I really liked the coaches and the campus. They're definitely a school I'm considering a lot but I still don't have any leaders right now.
"I really just want to take my time and go through the recruiting process. I may camp with Alabama this summer but I'm not sure about the rest of my summer plans. I'm just keeping everything open and then will take my official visits during and after the season."
