Sickels will take trips this fall

Little Silver (N.J.) Red Bank Regional defensive end Garrett Sickels is one of the region's top prospects from the Class of 2013 and to say that he's in high demand would be an understatement.
Florida, Georgia, Rutgers, Tennessee and Central Florida have already offered the 6-foot-4, 225-pound defensive end and you can bet more offers are on the way. In fact, Sickels has a pretty good idea of where two will be coming from.

"I feel like West Virginia and Notre Dame are probably the two closest (to offering)," Sickels explained on Thursday.
"I've sent film to them and they've seen it. I've gotten some feedback from a coach at Notre Dame that's been recruiting me. Also, West Virginia sent a questionnaire to the school and I sent my tape back."
This fall Sickels will be busy with his own team and his junior year of high school but he's planning on making some time for the recruiting process.
"I spoke to a coach from Penn State and I think September 10 I'm going to go see Alabama at Penn State," Sickels said.
"Then when we have a bye week I think we'll fly down south to see a game."
Sickels said it's likely that trip to a southern school will be to Tennessee, Georgia or Florida. He's not sure where it will be yet.
