Short list coming for Rivals250 OL Mekhi Becton

The recruiting process really took off for Mekhi Becton during the spring evaluation period. The Rivals250 offensive tackle from Highland Springs, Va. will start to narrow his focus soon.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"This process is really fun," Becton said. "It hasn't gotten that stressful yet but it will want to break it down. I might break it down on August 1st. I still need to take a lot of visits before figure that out.

"I'm in touch with coach Tujague from the University of Virginia, coach Vice from Virginia Tech, coach Drevno from Michigan, coach Burton from Michigan State, coach Limegrover from Penn State, coach Kap from North Carolina," he said. "My most recent visit was to Virginia. It's just the atmosphere of though way they love their players and it makes you feel like family. I've been to Virginia Tech and North Carolina a few times also and those schools have the same bond."

RIVALS' REACTION

Becton will be a tough pull for any team from a state that doesn't at least boarder Virginia. He would like to stay close to home and Virginia, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina are doing a very good job with Becton. Expect Becton to commit some time during the season or on Signing Day.
