Shoemaker says Northwestern on top
"I went to the Cincinnati one day camp," quarterback Kurt Shoemaker said. "I went to Akron for one day. And I went to Illinois' quarterback camp."
"Right now I'm looking at Northwestern, Akron, Bowling Green, Illinois, and Cincinnati."

"I probably like Northwestern best. I like the area. And they're probably recruiting me the hardest. I was going to go to camp there, but I broke my nose."
The 6-foot-3 and 195 pounder from Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson passed for 1300 yards during his junior season. Shoemaker completed 59% of his passes and also rushed for 650 yards.
