Shittu lands another Pac-10 offer

Another Pac-10 offer has arrived for Aziz Shittu, this one coming from Oregon State, and the Atwater (Calif.) Buhach defensive tackle is excited about the Beavers but still has other schools that have a slight edge in his recruitment.
"It's great having another Pac-10 school like the way I play," Shittu said. "It's very exciting to get an offer from them."

Oregon State joins Boise State, Colorado, Iowa State, Nevada, Stanford, UCLA, Washington, Washington State and San Jose State on the offer list for Shittu, a 6-foot-2, 280-pound prospect.
Shittu said Stanford still holds an edge in his recruitment and he's planning to attend the Cardinal junior day in a few weeks. A trip to the UCLA spring game is also being strongly considered.
The Northern California standout said there is a "strong possibility" he could commit after those two spring visits and he said last week that he'd consider making a pledge to Stanford if everything on his junior day visit goes extraordinarily well.
Washington offered last week and Shittu said the Huskies and UCLA are also two of his favorite programs.
"If I see (Stanford) and my parents like it and if my family likes it I wouldn't see a problem with committing," Shittu said.
"It's going to be a feel thing. If I feel like it's right and where I need to be then why not? They're the favorite right now."
On top of figuring out his recruitment, Shittu is looking to attend some camps this spring and summer but doesn't have anything firmed up yet. It all could depend on what he decides to do over the next couple weeks or months.
