Sherman still pumped

Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow three-star receiver Derrick Sherman committed to Purdue earlier this summer. He also had scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, Michigan State, Kent and Miami of Ohio. Since his pledge, he's not been heard from much.
But time hasn't changed his mind at all. He's very excited to be a Boilermaker.

"No schools have really contacted me since I committed," Sherman, ranked as the nation's No. 63 receiver and No. 28 player in Ohio, said. "I'd say I'm 99.9 percent sure that I'm going to Purdue. That's the right place for me.
"I really like the coaching staff, the people and the campus. It's an exciting offense, and I know I'm going to be a good fit."
Sherman said his family was behind his decision 100 percent.
"They supported me, but they left the decision up to me," Sherman said. "I'm still excited about it. I'm going to take my visit to Purdue, but I'm waiting until after our season is over."
Sherman was recruited by Purdue assistant Bill Legg. He is a 6-foot, 170-pound playmaker that had six touchdown receptions as a junior.
