Shembo visits TN

Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell defensive end Prince Shembo the first of three unofficial visits this summer. Following the trip, the 6-foot-2, 232-pounder claims that four schools are up there for his services.
"This was only one of three visits, I went on Friday to Tennessee," he said. "I got there and all the coaches met me and said hi. After that, they showed me some of the campus and dorms and then we went to the stadium. Those facilities are pretty nice.

"Then, I met with Monte Kiffin and Lane Kiffin. Monte is pretty cool. I liked him. Lane is pretty cool too. You could tell they were father and son. They are pretty cool to talk to and Monte said he'd like to use me like Derrick Brooks. That's good.
"When I saw Lane Kiffin, I didn't think he was the kind of guy that talked smack from all the media reports. I just think he's someone expecting big things and is pretty cool. You can tell he loves football and really wants to win."
The visit certainly helped the Volunteers cause for the talented end.
"They are pretty high up there, these are some of the main schools I'm going to visit," he said. "Some of my top schools are Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Tennessee. You can add North Carolina in there since I've been there so many times. Right now I'm trying to get to schools outside of the state."
Shembo's next visit is this weekend.
"I'm going on Friday to Notre Dame. I just want to see the campus and facilities," he said. "After Notre Dame, I'm going to call Coach Sherman and set up sometime in July for a visit to Virginia Tech.
"I think I'm planning to make a decision by the end of the summer. I want to focus on my senior season and knock some heads off."
