Shelton-Mosley waits on big offers

Justice Shelton-Mosley is about ready to schedule official visits but he's also waiting on two major programs that have shown interest for a long time to possibly offer.
The three-star wide receiver from Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian has been communicating with Stanford and Vanderbilt for an extended period and he's waiting to see if those programs offer before he finalizes his visit plans.

"It's pretty much the same group of schools," Shelton-Mosley said. "I'm supposed to give Stanford and Vanderbilt a call to see how it's going. They've been showing a lot of interest but they haven't offered. I'm looking forward to hearing from them.
"Stanford and Vanderbilt are two schools I really like. Those would be great offers to have. If they don't, I'll have to move on and focus on the schools that I have but I'm looking to hear from those schools."
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound recruit is not just having wishful thinking, either. Shelton-Mosley said both teams have been involved for a while. He was supposed to call both coaching staffs sometime this week to figure out exactly where he stands.
"High interest," Shelton-Mosley said. "Stanford has been in contact a lot and Vanderbilt I've been in contact with them. It's pretty much on the same kind of level. Stanford has been around longer but they're on the same level of interest."
There are a group of schools that Shelton-Mosley wants to see this fall before making a decision. It seems a few are locked in for sure and then he wants to wait on Stanford and Vanderbilt before finishing off his schedule.
"I definitely want to go see Harvard, Duke and Boston College," Shelton-Mosley said. "Cal is in there, too, but I don't know if I'll take an official there because it's only 20 minutes away. I can do an unofficial for that. I want to see those schools and Northwestern.
"I'm just trying to see if these other schools are going to get involved. I do want to take all five trips. I want to have a top list at the end of this month and then schedule my official visits."
Last season, Shelton-Mosley had 1,507 rushing yards with 25 touchdowns. He also had 23 catches for 535 yards and eight scores.
