Shelton-Mosley adds ACC offer

Justice Shelton-Mosley took a mid-week trip to Northwestern and it's a major step in his recruitment because it has already offered the three-star receiver who shined at the RCS Northern California.
The Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian standout is not expected to make any decisions soon but getting out to Northwestern is big for him.

"I just want to see how the coaching staff interacts with the players and I want to see how the practices go," said Shelton-Mosley, who traveled to the Midwest on Wednesday.
"I want to see the atmosphere around there. Is it a winning atmosphere? They got off to a good start and then after the Ohio State game it kind of went downhill from there but then they picked it up. I want to see the atmosphere and it will be exciting to be down there."
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound receiver has been offered by Duke, Harvard, Northwestern, UC-Davis and Yale so far but many others are showing interest.
Getting offered by the Blue Devils is definitely something special for Shelton-Mosley, who said he plans to visit Duke in the coming months. If not this off-season, then the Northern California prospect is thinking about an official visit there.
"It's perfect for me," Shelton-Mosley said.
"It's a spread offense and they had a great season. On the defense, that's truly what matters in winning games. It's a perfect fit for me and it's the No. 6 school in the country so academic-wise it offers everything and football-wise it offers everything, too.
"I want to see how it is there. They'll definitely be one of the places I go for an official and it will be one of my choices."
As for new interest, Shelton-Mosley said UCLA, Cal, Arizona State and Columbia continue to reach out.
