Sheil ready for the next level

The Class of 2005 is strong in Virginia, and one of top players in the group has an impressive offer list that continues to grow. Offensive tackle Pat Sheil can almost already go to any school he wants.
"I've now got offers from Oklahoma, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Florida, Miami, Boston College and a whole lot of others," said Sheil. "I'm not even sure of the total number right now but it's a lot. I thought I had a lot a while ago, but I've gotten a lot more pretty recently."

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound tackle from Clifton (Va.) Centreville runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds and has an impressive bench and shuttle time. Does he have any leaders?
"There are several I like," he said. "Virginia is still up there, but now I've got all these schools like Oklahoma, Miami and these SEC programs interested and I have to consider them."
With all these new schools joining the mix, are Sheil's earlier plans to make a decision soon off?
"I'm not sure about that right now," he laughed. "I've been getting a lot of questions about that, and right now I don't have a specific timeframe for when I'll decide. If I come to a conclusion soon then I'll decide soon. If not, I'll wait it out. I don't have a real problem either way."
