Sheil names top three

Clifton (Va.) Centreville offensive tackle Pat Sheil is one of the top prospects in the state of Virginia for 2005. Sheil, who now boasts 14 scholarship offers, has named a top three.
"Right now, I would have to say that Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Georgia are my the favorites. They are followed by Boston College and Notre Dame," said the 6-foot-6, 265-pound tackle who runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds.

Sheil boasts offers from traditional powers such as Oklahoma, Florida, and Miami. Does he have offers from all of his favorites?
"I have offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Boston College in my lead group. Both Notre Dame and Georgia have said that they are close to offering me a scholarship."
Has Sheil visited all of his leaders?
"I have visited Virginia a lot of times and I was there this past weekend for their junior day. I had a great time there like I always do. I visited Virginia Tech this spring and I enjoyed seeing the coaches there as well. I have been to Georgia as well. I am going to visit Boston College later this month and I hope to make it out to Notre Dame."
What does Sheil look for in a school?
"I want to go to a school and be a part of a strong incoming class. Virginia has the strongest class right and they just landed Eugene Monroe from New Jersey. That definitely helps them. I just want to play great football, feel comfortable, and get a solid education in the process."
Sheil said he would like to decide by the start of his senior season.
