Sheil gets two big offers

Clifton (Va.) Centreville offensive tackle/defensive end Pat Sheil had a tremendous showing at the NIKE Camp at Charlottesville two weeks ago. Sheil, one of the top prospects in Virginia, received two new scholarship offers based on that performance.
"Miami offered me a scholarship and so did Florida. They came back to back. Florida offered me on Thursday and Miami offered on Friday. I was floored," said the 6-foot-6, 270-pound two-way standout who runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds.
The offer parade didn't stop on Friday.
"Boston College offered me on Monday. I am really excited about getting a chance to see and consider all of these places. Boston College is my dad's favorite. He grew up in New York as a Boston College fan."
Last weekend, Sheil took a trip to Virginia Tech to take in their spring game.
"I had a great time. The people down there are great. I was most impressed with their fan support."
Sheil now has scholarship offers from Miami, Florida, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Boston College, Wake Forest, Army, and Syracuse. When does Sheil plan on making his decision?
"I would like to get this done before my season starts. I would like to make my decision in June. I want to make sure I am 100 percent sure though before I make an announcement. The June deadline could be moved if I feel I am not 100 percent certain."
