Sheard knows of two visits

Hollywood (Fla.) Hollywood Hills defensive end Jabaal Sheard knows two schools that he is definitely going to visit, though he is unsure of the specific dates.
"I have two visits coming up to Pittsburgh and Auburn," Sheard said. "I'm really not sure of the exact dates, but they are supposed to be during the season."

The visit to Pitt most assuredly will be. The visit to Auburn potentially could be the weekend of Jan. 12, 2007.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound pass rusher with 4.6-second speed in the 40-yard dash added that the Panthers and Tigers have been recruiting him the hardest.
"It's probably Pittsburgh (that's recruiting the hardest)," Sheard said. "Their recruiter is always calling me. I hear a lot from Auburn, too."
Other schools that have previously been involved with Sheard, like Rutgers, South Carolina and Minnesota, still are to a certain extent.
"They still call, but not as much," Sheard said. "I figure that they are just busy with their football seasons."
Regardless of who calls or where he visits, Sheard isn't currently planning on making an early decision.
"I'm just waiting to see what happens," he said.
Sheard, who plays defensive end exclusively for his high school team, has had a good year thus far.
"I've got about eight sacks now," he said. "We only have one loss and that's to Boyd Anderson. We're looking to play Saint Thomas Aquinas here in a couple of weeks."
Sheard is the nation's No. 19 weakside defensive end prospect and the No. 38 overall prospect in the state of Florida.
