Three-star defensive lineman Rashawn Shaw signed his financial aid agreement with Louisville this week according to his father, Mike Shaw. Shaw committed to the Cardinals in June over offers from LSU and USF.

Shaw's dad said Louisville sent the paperwork to them to sign early in the week. However, they had some concerns about the rumors that Charlie Strong's name was being floated around for other jobs.
"I know he wants to take a official visit to Arkansas and he is going to talk to Coach (Mike) Sewak at Georgia Tech," the elder Shaw said. "Wake Forest was in the mix, but Coach (Jim) Grobe just left there."
Strong is scheduled to make an in-home visit on Tuesday evening to help ease some of the family's concerns. Shaw is planning to take an official visit to the Cards Dec. 13.
"Coach (Charlie) Partridge from Arkansas stopped by the school during the week," Shaw said. "They want him to come up for a visit next sometime soon, but he has Louisville this weekend."
The Razorbacks continue their hot pursuit of Shaw despite their struggles on the field this season. They are recruiting him very hard according to Shaw's father.
As a senior, Shaw racked up 90 tackles with 27 for loss and 16 sacks.
