Shankle takes two unofficials

Four-star cornerback Terry Shankle has taken two unofficial visits in recent weeks to a couple of his leaders. Where did the 5-foot-10, 167-pounder go and what is next for him?
"I was at North Carolina this weekend," he said. "It was good. It was a great experience even though the outcome didn't turn out.

"The crowd was much louder and into the game this time and the atmosphere was great. I talked to the coaches for a little bit after. They didn't say too much."
Last week Shankle made an unofficial visit to Tennessee as well.
"I had a good time down there," he said. "I enjoyed the game, players and coaches. It was my second time making it to Knoxville. I got to see more of the school and hang out with the players to see how they felt about it.
"I also talked to the coaches. They talked about me coming to visit more."
The No. 6 prospect in North Carolina plans to make another trip in the near future.
"I'm supposed to go to NC State in the next couple weeks, I'm not sure which game I'm going to yet."
Shankle confirmed North Carolina, NC State and Tennessee are his three leaders.
"Those are the schools I like because they are probably the only schools that stay in touch with me since the spring."
So far this season the Rivals250 prospect has posted 12 receptions including seven touchdowns along with one interception.
"The season is going good," he said. "We should be undefeated, we lost one game by a field goal, but I have seen a big improvement. I'm running better routes and playing defense better. I just want to get bigger and more physical."
