Shankle picks up Michigan offer

Athlete Terry Shankle already has an impressive list of offers to choose from and the prospect from Norwood (N.C.) South Stanly just picked up one of his biggest.
Shankle has the ability to play either wide receiver or defensive back at the college level. Who is the newest offer?
"Michigan offered me around (Monday)," Shankle said. "They told my coach they wanted to offer me and they said they want me to play wide receiver. I can play wide receiver or defensive back but they want me for receiver."
What does he think of that offer and the Michigan program?
"Big offer," he said emphatically. "Real big offer. Michigan is one of the biggest programs out there.
"I know with the change [b]Rich Rodriguez[/db] is the coach and I've kept up with it. I think it'll be a good change."
That said, the Wolverines might have a little work cut out for themselves.
"They're just like any other school (on his list) but they came in late. Since they came in late, they're a little lower, but they're near my top five.
"My top five is North Carolina, Clemson, Alabama, Florida and NC State. They're all even. They all want me to play defensive back, too."
