Shabazz has two DEs to watch

Newark (N.J.) Malcolm X. Shabazz features two defensive end prospects to keep an eye on in the 2007 in Marvin Gresham and Lamar Middleton. What makes each player stand out and who are they receiving interest from?
"Marvin is a 6-foot-2, 210-pounder that has a great first few steps. They are phenomenal," said Malcolm X. Shabazz head coach David McCombs. "He is very athletic as he is a hurdler on the track team and is a very difficult kid to block. He is tough too and even has the ability to play outside linebacker if need be."

Last season Gresham registered 14 sacks.
Middleton is a 6-foot-3, 225-pounder that registered 12 sacks as a junior.
"Lamar is a very aggressive kid that goes after the ball and has good technique and hands," he said. "He also has the ability to get off blocks and his long arms are a huge advantage on lineman. He is a very hard worker on the field and in the weight room too."
Currently both defensive end prospects are receiving interest from schools including Syracuse, Illinois and Connecticut amongst others.
