Several new offers for Monday

Mableton (Ga.) Pebblebrook three-star cornerback Demetrius Monday is in the midst of a whirlwind tour. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder has been picking up offers rapidly on his journey and plans to hit a few more camps soon.
"I'm on a bus tour and the first stop was Cincinnati," he said. "The day after that, I got five offers and since then I've been racking them up. I got offers on the trip from Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Ohio."

From his recent flood of new offers, Cincinnati is the one that is sticking out.
"I like Cincinnati a lot, really a lot," he said. "I visited their school and I liked the campus a lot. The facilities and all that were good. The coaches made me feel at home and it's a great school and a great atmosphere."
Prior to his recent recruiting success, Monday already had offers from Mississippi State, Akron and Tennessee-Chattanooga.
More visits are coming as Monday plans to visit Northwestern today and Illinois on Thursday.
He is also waiting to hear back from a few other schools.
"I'm waiting on a few SEC schools like Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky to get back to me, along with Michigan," he said. "I went to Michigan's camp on Tuesday and hopefully I'll know soon. The rest are just waiting for the fall."
Monday claims no favorites and maintains he is nowhere near a decision.
With many visits behind him and more coming, Monday discussed what he is looking for in a college.
"First off, I want an education," he said. "I want to see that they have physical education or criminal justice. I'm looking for that first. Next, I'm looking for how they treat me at school. I want to see a friendly environment and stuff like that. Finally, I'm looking to dominate. I want to get on the field. Location doesn't matter as much as long as I can get on the field for a chance to play in the NFL."
