Several favorites for Williams

It is still early in the recruitment of Chicago Gordon Tech defensive end Raequan Williams, but the 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect has a few schools standing out.
"Right now I would probably say Iowa, Arizona and Arizona State," said Williams. "I have a couple favorites but I still want to get out and see Penn State, Tennessee and Mizzou before I name my [top school]."

Williams has visited Arizona, Arizona State and Iowa in the last couple months. His most recent visit was to Iowa in April to check out a spring practice.
"It is a pretty nice place, I liked it a lot," Williams said of the Hawkeyes. "They can develop my game a lot. They send players to the League a lot."
Missouri, Tennessee and Penn State are all schools Williams has kept in close contact with this spring. The Tigers were in recently to watch him work out and he had a conversation with Tennessee this week.
"I just got off the phone with Coach Don [Mahoney]," Williams said. "It was basically what they liked about me and their school. I hear that it is a beautiful campus."
Williams does not have additional visits on his schedule at this time but said Penn State is one he definitely plans to see.
