He is considered one of the top offensive lineman in the Northeast and as of Sept. 16 he has 34 offers. Dan Mazan of Carteret, N.J. is being recruited by some of the top programs in the country and is ready to begin to set his official visits. The 6-foot-2, 295 pound offensive guard plans on taking all five visits.
"I was at the Penn State-Nebraska game this past weekend on an unofficial visit and had a great time. I spoke with coach Paterno and some the players. It was awesome and Penn State has always been one of my favorites"

Mazan does not have a leader, but is listing Penn State, Florida State, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA, Ohio State and Michigan as his top choices. Of his top seven, only Michigan has not officially offered.
"I'm definitely going to take all five official visits. I would like to go on one or two during the season if my schedule allows it, but I need to check that. I'm going to set up a few visits for December in the next few weeks."
Dan is considering going to Penn State again, but this time on an official visit the weekend of Oct. 18. The Nittany Lions will play host to Northwestern.
"Florida State was up to see me last week and they offered. Obviously they are a great program and I have always liked them. It's going to be a tough decision when the time comes."
