Serra League Defensive POY gets offer

There are many in Southern California who feel that the Serra League was the toughest from top-to-bottom than any other Conference in the SS CIF Division I this past season.
That is why it is so impressive that a cornerback was the Serra League Defensive Player of the Year.

Cornerback Darryl Williams (5-11, 175, 4.5) from Anaheim (Calif.) Servite was selected the Serra League Defensive Player of the Year after racking up 69 tackles, 27 assists, five interceptions, five tackles for a loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.
When you play at the level that Williams did as a senior you will attract attention from D-I schools. Williams is beginning to grab the attention of two very interesting teams.
The two teams that are giving attention to Williams is interesting because they do such a great job evaluating talent.
These two teams rarely get ranked recruiting classes but often are rated in the top 25 on the field.
The two teams that are showing Williams attention are Colorado State and Oregon. Williams was offered by Colorado State last week and is visiting Oregon this weekend.
Sonny Lubick from Colorado State came to the Williams house last week for an in home visit. Williams likes everything about Colorado State, the coaches, and he also thought the campus was great when he went on his visit to Fort Collins.
