Sheriron Jones has already thrown for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns in two games this season and it's paying off for the 2015 quarterback.
The Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde standout said his recruitment has picked up in a big way with new interest from Florida State, Notre Dame, Georgia and many others.
Some schools have already been out to see him play and others are planning to stop by Rancho Verde in the coming weeks. All this has the 2015 quarterback excited.
"Texas A&M is coming to look at me pretty soon," Jones said. "They said once they have their bye week they'll be out here to come and see me.
"Notre Dame is trying to get me up there for one of their games. I might go but that's pretty far. Tennessee likes me a lot. I haven't really talked to Georgia but they're sending me a bunch of letters. Washington was out here Friday for the game."
So far, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect has been offered by Akron, Arizona and Arizona State and the sense is that many others could come as his recruitment continues.
Jones has already visited USC and UCLA this season and is hopeful to hear from both programs in the coming weeks whether more offers are on the way.
"I went to the UCLA game and the USC game," Jones said. "Both environments were good. UCLA is more the type of team to get in there with the quarterback who can run and throw. I still like the under-center at USC but they're going through some tough times. I still love it there though. Win or lose, I feel if I'm comfortable there I would go there.
"USC and UCLA both said they want to see two more games and then they'll make their decision."
