Seminoles move in on Pace TE

Pace (Fla.) tight end D.J. Norris is one of the fastest rising prospects in the state and he just returned from the Florida State camp last week. Norris had some positive news to report after arriving home from Tallahassee.
"(FSU) said they were going to offer me," Norris said. "Coach (Mickey) Andrews talked to me a lot the whole week and he said that they need three coaches to approve before they offer. I went with Coach (John) Lilly for tight ends and Coach (Jody) Allen for defensive ends and (Andrews) said they both approved me. He said I'd have a scholarship on the way."

Norris (6-3, 240) has previously received written offers from Tennessee, UCF, South Florida, Troy State, and East Carolina. He is being recruited to play tight end, H-back, or defensive end.
"Coach Lilly wants me to play tight end and Coach Andrews wants me to play defensive end," Norris said. "He said the hardest decision I'll have to make is what position I'm going to play."
Norris has said Tennessee and Florida State are his two favorites followed by Georgia Tech, UCF, and South Florida. Now that he's got offers from his top two does that mean a commitment might be on the way?
"No, I think I'm going to take my visits before I commit to a school," Norris said.
