Sellers moving to safety in 09

Athlete Jonathan Sellers has the size and physical ability to make it at the college level and the Bessemer City, N.C. junior is making a position switch in the fall.
Last year the 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect lined up at wide receiver and cornerback. He'll stay at wide receiver, but he's moving to safety next year.

"I was a corner this past year," Sellers said. "It will be something new. I think it will be a better position for me. It's a lot like corner but I'll just have to watch the middle of the field more.
"My biggest strength is that I make big-time plays when the team needs it."
As a junior for Bessemer City, Sellers caught 38 passes for 636 yards and 12 touchdowns. On defense he picked off six passes, displaying good cover skills in the open field.
Sellers has received mail from Clemson, Duke, North Carolina and West Virginia.
There is one school that sits atop his list, however.
"Miami is my favorite," he said. "I'm really trying to get them to look at me. I've never been there but I really like the way they play. They might have a bad year but I still feel like they're the best (program)."
Sellers has set a personal goal of improving his time in the 40-yard dash to 4.5 seconds this season.
