Seisay recaps Cal junior day

Chris Seisay was thoroughly impressed with his visit to Cal for its junior day this weekend and the American Canyon, Calif., athlete is planning some return trips to the Berkeley campus.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect who can play either wide receiver or defensive back said he's been invited back for spring practice and summer camp at Cal and he's hoping to return a few times.

"All the facilities are really nice there," Seisay said. "The coaches were really friendly and welcomed all the players in like they were their own players. Everything about the school was nice. They have a nice equipment room and nice locker rooms. I like the area around Berkeley. It's just a nice area and a nice school overall.
"They said they're just looking for players who can play football. They'll recruit me for any position.
"They invited me to a couple spring practices and they told me to come back to their camp in the summer. I'm very close with the receivers coach and the cornerbacks coach so I'm probably going to be there this summer and maybe to a couple spring practices."
In his junior season, Seisay finished with 26 receptions for 756 yards and nine touchdowns.
On defense, he recorded 73 tackles, four interceptions and one fumble recovery. Seisay said he hopes the Golden Bears stay in touch with him.
"I hope I stay close with Cal and they'll keep talking to me," Seisay said. "That's one of my top schools right now."
So far in his recruitment, Seisay has an offer from Utah State and he's hearing a lot from Oregon State. Stanford, Boise State, Northwestern and Michigan are all showing interest as well.
Over the next few months, Seisay plans to take unofficial visits to Washington State and Boise State and then plan his summer trips.
