Panaca (Nevada) Lincoln County quarterback Kyle Seevers was looking for the right fit. With scholarship offers from BYU, Nebraska, Nevada, Boise Sate and Utah State, there were plenty of schools lining up hoping he would try them on for size. In the end, Seevers felt most at home at Boise State, and he ended up committing to the Broncos.

“It’s a great program on the rise and that was big,” Seevers, a slender gunslinger that is 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds, said. “The quarterback up there threw for like 4,000 yards last year, and I love to throw the ball around. It’s just something I felt. I liked the coaches and felt comfortable there. I’m very excited.”
So are the Boise State coaches, Seevers said. He plans on traveling up there in a few days to observe the Broncos’ summer camp and meet up with the coaches and celebrate his commitment.
“I have been thinking about this for a while,” Seevers, a first-team all-state and all-conference pick that threw for 1,222 yards, said.
“I knew they offered a few other quarterbacks and wanted to sign only one. I was interested in them, and I liked them, so why hestitate.”
