Secrest close with OSU coaches

Stillwater, Okla., offensive lineman Jacob Secrest has been a long-time Oklahoma State commitment, and if you ask him he has no plans of changing his mind. But he did admit he might take another official visit or two before signing day arrives.
"I've been hearing from a few schools lately," Secrest, who is 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds, said. "The only two schools I'm in phone contact with are Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. I talk to Oklahoma State once a week, at least."

Secrest was recruited for Oklahoma State by Cowboy offensive line coach Joe Wickline, and he committed to OSU back on July 7. He said Oklahoma called him again for the first time in a long time a couple of weeks ago, and he sent film to OU offensive line coach Kevin Wilson.
"He had me send some film in and coach said he'd get back to me about an offer," Secrest, ranked as the nation's No. 38 offensive guard and No. 10 player in Oklahoma, said.
"I'm still committed to Oklahoma State. I'm not wavering at all right now. I may take a few visits to other places, though. I'm thinking about it. I really don't know where I would go, but I may visit Oklahoma if they decide to offer me. I'm not sure if it would change anything, but I would probably take a visit there to see."
Secrest said his relationship with coach Wickline is strong.
"I talk to coach Wick once a week, at least, probably more than that," he said. "I am close with him and the rest of the coaches. They stay in good contact with me by phone and sending me a bunch of personal notes and things like that."
