Second visit schedled for Juco DT

North Dakota State College of Sciences defensive tackle Bobby Jones knows the recruiting trail will move along a little faster for him than some schools, and the South Dakota native is beginning to line up his official visits.
“Bobby had already lined up a visit to Michigan State (Nov. 5),” NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. “He now has lined up his second official visit. He is going to visit Cincinnati the weekend of June 19.”

The Bearcats and coach Mark Dantonio are the only school to offer a scholarship to the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder.
“Bobby is very excited about their offer and he can’t wait to see what the University of Cincinnati looks like in person.”
While two of the official visits have been lined up, the process might slow down a little bit before lining up the others.
“We are still waiting on a few other schools to see where Bobby sits on their recruiting charts. Hopefully a few more schools will offer him during the summer.”
Shafer said the off-season workouts were going well for Jones.
“I actually watched him run the other day,” the coach said. “He looks quicker than he did last fall. We are looking for him to do some big things for us this fall.”
