Second SEC offer for Jax center

Before it's all said and done Tramell Williams will have his share of scholarship offers. Williams, from Jacksonville (Fla.) Robert E. Lee High School, got his second offer from a Southeastern Conference School, as today he was offered by South Carolina.
"They offered me today," Williams said. "It would really mean a lot for me to play for a great coach like coach (Steve) Spurrier. I love the direction that the program is going and I think that's a place where I have a great chance of getting on the field early. I'm going to visit there this summer and check out the program with my family and go from there.

"I could see myself as a Gamecock."
Williams, 6-2 and 260 pounds, is a three-star center prospect ranked No. 7 overall. He was the camp MVP at the National Underclassmen Combine in Jacksonville earlier this spring and he was also outstanding a the Nike Camp in Tallahassee last month.
Williams has also been offered by Vanderbilt while teams like Illinois, Rutgers, Tennessee, Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Michigan State are all recruiting him very hard. In fact, don't be surprised if Miami is his next offer.
