Second Pac-12 offer for Adams

Darrell Adams recently landed his second Pac-12 offer and the Hayward (Calif.) Stellar Prep wide receiver is definitely interested in learning more about the program.
"Utah offered a few days ago," Adams said.

"What happened was they came to see me work out. Coach (Jim) Harding came by and he saw me do a couple drills at outside linebacker, he saw me do footwork drills and then he saw me catch the ball a little bit and he said he was going to get back to me a couple days later."
The 6-foot-2, 219-pound prospect who looked good at the RCS Northern California earlier this spring said the Utah coaches backed up the promise - they reached out a few days after seeing him in person and the Utes offered.
It's another positive step for Adams, who missed his entire junior season because of transfer rules and thinks his recruitment has been relatively slow because he doesn't have much film to show college coaches.
"(Harding) said he wants Utah to be one of the first to offer before all these others start coming in," Harding said. "Within a couple days I talked to him and he offered me."
Arizona State and Utah have offered the three-star receiver but Adams said it's too early for a clear frontrunner. He's definitely interested in the Sun Devils and the Utes but there are still so many teams interested he cannot name a leader at this point.
"As far as a favorite, I don't know about that," Adams said.
"Since ASU and Utah offered me those have to be my favorites right now because I don't have any others. Everything is just open for me. Recruiting is just open right now."
Oregon State, Oregon, Texas, USC, UCLA, Cal and Utah State are some of the programs getting involved with the Stellar Prep recruit. He plans to play wide receiver in college but could also move to linebacker to land more interest.
