Second offer in for Kentucky OT

A new scholarship offer is on the table for Louisville (Ky.) DuPont Manuel offensive tackle prospect Dave Ulinski after an impressive showing at a rising senior camp in his hometown.
"On Monday, I got (an offer) from Louisville after I got back from their senior camp," Ulinski said. "I still have my offer from Kentucky from last September."

Ulinski talked about his impressions of the Louisville program.
"It was good to get that offer," he said. "They're one of the up and coming top teams in the nation right now. (New Cardinals head coach) Steve Kragthorpe is a really nice guy and real easy to talk to," he said. "It looked like the players were having a lot of fun, plus he seemed to run a really cool environment, so I like him."
The talent level at the U of L camp also stood out to Ulinski.
"There was lots of national talent there," he said. "There were lots of guys from all over and it was my first time going up with guys from all over. Some of the guys were real good. There were a lot of real big guys and some real fast guys. The day after the camp they offered me, so I guess they liked what the saw."
Ulinski also recently completed a camp at UK.
"I was at the Kentucky camp (this week)," he said. "It went good. There were some national talents there and a lot of instate talent, too. It was nice to see some of the in-state senior talent."
A pair of out-of-state schools also are showing the 6-foot-6, 300-pounder plenty of interest, but have yet to extend a scholarship offer.
"I guess Auburn's coaches have been recruiting me," he said. "I might go to their senior camp in July. Purdue's coach wants me to go up to their camp, but I don't know if that's going to happen."
Ulinski doesn't have a favorite, but does acknowledge that he has strong connections to UK. His grandfather played for Paul "Bear" Bryant at the school and has his number retired.
"It's kind of early to say (anything about a favorite)," Ulinski said. "I don't want to really want to come out and say anything about UK. I'm a UK fan, and my grandpa was an All-American and played there. People don't really pressure me in to one school. My grandparents just tell me just go to the school that fits me the best."
This summer, Ulinski plans to take another trip to U of L and also will visit Kentucky and Auburn unofficially.
After those visits and as the season draws near, Ulinski could make a decision.
"If possible, I'd like to do this before this season," he said. "If I can get all the visits in that I want to. I want to be comfortable, but I'm not going to rush it. I don't want to drag it out too long though, so I'd like to know before the season."
Ulinski is a three-star rated prospect by Rivals.com and is the nation's No. 63 offensive tackle prospect.
