Second offer for Twitty

Defensive end Dominic Twitty of Mount Holly (N.J.) Rancocas Valley already had an offer from Temple, but earlier this week he saw his stock rise further with his first BCS offer from a Big Ten program. Several other schools have also begun to pick up their interest level in the South Jersey lineman.
"Recruiting has been going real well," said Twitty, who is 6-foot-3 and 270-pounds. "I've picked up another offer from Minnesota."

Twitty shared his thoughts about the Minnesota program and how the offer came about.
"They came up to visit and my coaches showed them my film," said Twitty. "I guess they were very impressed with me. I would like to play in the Big Ten. Everyone says it's cold there, but I know how to dress for the cold."
Aside from his two offers, Twitty is also seeing increased interest from Penn State, Northwestern, Cincinnati, Syracuse and Rutgers. He does not have any current plans for visits or camps, but has already taken visits to Syracuse, Temple, Rutgers and Connecticut.
While no visits are currently planned, he does have a general idea of when he would like to make a final decision.
"After our season ends or whenever I complete my official visits," said Twitty, who also discussed what he will be looking for in a school. "I just want to play, have good teammates and a good coaching staff."
