Second offer comes for RB Mangus

Raleigh (N.C.) Broughton running back Chris Mangus pulled his second offer recently. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder updated that and more inside.
"I got my second offer from Memphis," he said. "I was pretty excited about it. I'm looking forward to getting more.

"I don't really know too much about Memphis yet."
Though many schools want Mangus to visit, he has yet to take a trip.
"I've been talking to Clemson, Georgia, Maryland and Vanderbilt," he said. "They all have invited me for their spring games. East Carolina wants me to come up for their junior day."
With college interest growing, does Mangus like anybody?
"Right now I do like Georgia," he said. "I went down there for a game against Georgia Tech and had a great time. I liked the atmosphere it was electrifying and crazy. Their facilities are very nice an their program for student athletes is outstanding as far as academic wise."
At this point in time, Mangus is keeping busy with track where he just participated in his first meet.
"It wasn't my best meet, I came in fourth in the 100 and our team was first in the 4x2," he said. "My goals this year are that I'm trying to go to states again and come in first in the 100, 200, 4x2 and 4x4. I placed fifth in the 200 last year and sixth in the 100."
Mangus is getting a bit of interest for track as well from the likes of Navy and Princeton, and expressed an interest in doing both in college.
