Second offer comes for NJ receiver

Wide receiver Brandon Jones landed his second offer of the season last month. The Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township received the second scholarship from the MAC.
"I got offered by Temple about a month ago. That's my second offer to go along with Eastern Michigan," he said. "I like the campus at Temple and they are an up and coming program. They just changed conferences and have recruited some good quarterback. They are moving in the right direction."

The two-star prospect continues to stay in touch with plenty of other schools too.
"Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Louisville and Boston College are in touch," he said. "I haven't been able to talk to any schools in awhile because of the texting ban, but I get a lot of mail. I think they are all waiting for more game film this season."
The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is starting to consider visits.
"Nothing is definite yet, but I've been getting a lot of information on games."
Do any schools lead at this time?
"I'm still feeling it out, taking everything in," he said. "I'll probably hold it out and enjoy my senior year.
"I'm just looking for a winning school that throws the ball and a good coaching staff. I want somewhere I feel comfortable and fit in right with the offense."
Jones is currently getting ready for the season which begins on September 7th.
"Practice is going good, our team looks real good," he said. "We've returned a lot of players and we're working out the kinks. I'm better too. I'm a lot stronger and faster."
