Keyon Ware-Hudson had planned to take a summer visit to Alabama, however that didn’t work out.

Still, the SEC trip is going to happen and the 2019 four-star defensive end who recently transferred to Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei said he’s working on booking a trip to Tuscaloosa for sometime this season.

“It's going good,” Ware-Hudson said. “The way that they have been recruiting me was that they really loved my film. They said they want to see me in person and see my size.”

A standout at Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta last season, the 6-foot-2, 285-pound, barrel-chested defensive end who could end up inside is excited about where his recruitment is headed because a ton of programs are reaching out.

Now that he’s at powerhouse Santa Ana Mater Dei, Ware-Hudson is going to receive even more exposure on the national stage.

And that could mean more offers especially since Ware-Hudson will have a chance to make a big impact in Mater Dei's defense.

“Right now, that haven't offered me are Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Florida State but there's a lot more (showing interest),” Ware-Hudson said.

As for offers, Ware-Hudson has landed Arizona, UCLA, Michigan, USC, Nebraska, Louisville, Tennessee, Oregon, Mississippi State, Boston College and Utah.

The 2019 four-star said Oregon is on him probably the hardest along with UCLA and USC at this point.
